Hydroscope: A Whole New Way to Look at Water - February 2012

Holly accidentally falls through the hydroscope and is transformed into a water molecule.  This play follows her adventures as she travels the water cycle from evaporation to precipitation and back again.  With some help from her friends she regains her human form with a new appreciation for H2O.- View Clip form 2004.

KidCycle - March 2010

Extra-terrestrials land on earth to find the perfectly positioned person to make a difference in the ecological future of the planet.  They select Everett Pearson, a decidedly uninterested candidate for the job.  Through educational song and dance and time traveling tourism they enlighten Everett to the point of a dramatic epiphany. KEEP IT - November 2008

This multifaceted performance uses song, dance, video and dramatic monologues to trace the history of the right to vote in the United States: from its infancy in 1776 through women’s suffrage and the civil rights movement up to passage of the 26th amendment to the Constitution granting 18 year olds the vote in 1971.  Using some of the most powerful historical speeches on the subject, actors share first person accounts of the struggle. - View Clip

The Great Quest: "A Medieval Tale for Modern Times” - March 2008

Two neighboring kingdoms must work to overcome their isolation, fear, and distrust in this saga of knights, dragons, and damsels in distress.  Jesters, dragon’s minions, and wizards complete the mix in this colorful fable. - View Clip

UPBEAT - March 2007

As the show begins Michelle has her music “drummed” out of her by an overbearing gang who will tolerate no music but their own.  The play that follows is an exploration of world rhythms in search of Michelle’s “beat.”  Students work alongside artists from Brazil, West Africa, India, Japan, Brittany, and the Narragansett Tribe of Rhode Island.

Overdue or The Day the Librarian Checked Out - March 2006

This mystery leads Brett through a variety of literary genres in search of the kidnapped librarian.  His exploration through both fiction and non-fiction lead to a confrontation with the Black Knight and the ultimate of our heroine.

CORPUS 3405 : Who Knew a Body Could Be So Entertaining? - March 2005

When a high school student is abducted by non-corporeal aliens for research he is given the scientific designation 3405.  Using advanced technology the aliens peer inside the various systems of his body, including circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems.  One of the aliens grows alarmed at the effects of cigarettes and alcohol on their test subject, and frees the student before a harmful dose of cocaine is administered.

Artwise - March 2003

Two students are granted their wish never to look at art again. They find themselves in a black empty void. In order to return to their own time and space they must navigate 4000 years of art history: from cave paintings in France & terra-cotta soldiers in China through the Impressionists and the Harlem Renascence.
